Engine run stand progress 09/29/2016 Construction of the engine test stand We plan on running and doing most of the tuning of the new engine before we put the engine in the car. To do this we need to buy or buid a run stand. I would rather build one than buy one so that is what we are doing. The first thing we had to do was find an old transmission core. Once we had the core we cut the case in half through the ring and pinion section and discarded the rear of the transmission. We are using the front of the case to mount the

Transmission is here! 09/21/2016 The Pro Street transmission showed up today! When we ordered this transmission we were told to expect it in about 3-4 weeks. When my CC was charged a week later we figured that they had started on it and we would see it in 3-4 weeks. We are excited to say that it took only 2 weeks including shipping to get this transmission custom built by Rancho Transmission in Riverside CA.

We lowered it! 07/21/2016 We lowered the car this week. We installed type 3 disc brakes with 2" drop spindles on the front. We found 3 compression fittings throughout the brake system so we had to replace most of the brake lines to make the car safe. We then installed a Bus master cylinder (22mm) with a screw on reservoir. We also installed the line lock solenoids for the front brakes and residual valve for the rear drum brakes. We moved the rear torsion bars one outer spline to match the fronts lower stance.
